AREAS OF ORGANIZATION DEALING WITH R&D
The propelling of the development and implementation of new technologies in the rail and
road transport, particularly in relation to the implementation, maintenance and operation
of intelligent transportation systems.

TOOLS AVAILABLE TO THE RAILWAY SECTOR
The General Deputy Directorate of Management and Analysis of Land Transport
Innovation is in charge of the exercise of the functions above.
The Directorate General of Land Transportation is in charge of the general land
management, within the jurisdiction of the State, in transport by road and rail transport
services and in particular, of the functions mentioned above.
