as specific tests for R&D purposes, design modification and optimization as
well as root cause failure analyses.

TRACTION SYSTEM AND ENERGY CONSUMPTION
* On-track functional verification tests according to EN 50388, ETI Energy and ETI Loc&Pas:
- Traction system verification.
- Testing and optimizing the blending of dynamic and pneumatic brakes.
- Power consumption measurements and regenerative braking performance testing.
- Optimization of anti-slide and anti-spin protection.
* Instrumentation: current and voltage sensors, accelerometers, speed sensors (radar).

BRAKING SYSTEM PERFORMANCE
- Acceptance braking performance test according to international standards and TSI.
- Optimization of anti-slide protection.
- Determination of braking capacity.
* Instrumentation: accelerometers, doppler sensor for speed determination and advanced post-processing tools.
